Description
Service and a meal is an annual event that provides volunteers with the opportunity to serve an under resourced community with a hot meal, non perishable food and winter coats and clothes.
In 2022 we served over 150 individuals in the West Englewood community with a hot meal, and free clothes. Children and families were able to sit and eat with officers and other professionals building meaningful relationships that allows everyone to be comfortable and receive the help they need in that moment.
Our goal is to double the amount of individuals served this November 2023. More food, more coats and clothes and boxes of food for families to take home.
