Description

We are the Setauket Elementary School PTA, representing children in grades PreK through 6th grade, located on Long Island, New York. We would like to politely request a donation from your company for our annual Basket Dinner to be held on Thursday March 14th, 2024. 


The Setauket PTA is a non-profit 501 C-3 organization that supports our school’s children and teachers. Some of the programs we have funded in the past are: visiting authors (Cindy Sommer, Joe Shandwoski-Pep), a Science Fair hosted by world-class chemists from Stony Brook University, in-house visits from the Long Island Science Center, a school-wide color-run celebrating diversity and inclusion, and an Anti-Bullying program for all students. Each year, the Setauket PTA spends about $18,000 to offer these programs to our children. Most of these funds come directly from the proceeds of the Basket Dinner. 


We would appreciate any support your business is able to provide. Your generosity is vital in helping our school community, and all donations will be listed in our event program and identified on each basket.
