Dear Friend: The Parkville Recreation Council Drama Club is a recreation theatre program for all children in grades K thru 8th. While located in the heart of Parkville, MD we have registered participants 3 villes’ & halls’ wide. With a participation of 48 plus children this season, the children really enjoy this program. Our mission is to provide children the opportunity to create, produce, and be a part of a theater experience that nurtures, develops, and stimulates young minds. By teaching acting, voice, dance, stage management and more, our students will have a better understanding of all aspects of creating a Broadway-style musical. After twelve weeks of skill-building in voice, movement, and scene work, these young actors will present a final main stage production or musical for friends, family & the community. In order to keep up with the growing costs involved in running a drama program we are asking for your help. If you would be so kind as to consider assisting us to provide a wonderful performance for these children, we would greatly appreciate it. During our Tech Week we will have raffles, door prizes, and silent auction items available. Your choice to sponsor our program by an ‘in-kind giving’ of gift cards, product donation or monetary donation from your company or organization will allow us to hold a successful season. Enclosed is the in-kind donation contract that must be completed and returned along with your donation.
