NABA-AZ takes the opportunity at this annual event to honor individuals for their contributions in advocating for legal and policy issues that are important to the Arizona Native American community. In addition, this event is NABA-AZ’s largest fundraiser and allows the organization to raise funds necessary for the Seven Generations Scholarship program and other outreach events.

Please plan on joining us as NABA-AZ honors the following individuals for their tireless commitment to promoting and advancing legal issues important to Native Americans in the State of Arizona:
● Lifetime Achievement Awards: Sally Willet, Retired Administrative Law Judge; Glenn M. Feldman, Of Counsel, Procopio
● Community Leadership Award: International Indian Treaty Council
● Member of the Year Award: Pilar Thomas, Partner, Quarles & Brady LLP

Formed in 2007, NABA-AZ’s membership has been steadily increasing, and we are at almost 100 members. Since our inception, we have awarded over $150,000 worth of scholarship funds to Native American law students who attend Arizona’s law schools. In addition, we support Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) events on topics relevant to the Native American community for the benefit of tribal attorneys, practitioners and judges. Also in 2022, we will continue to assist in Election Protection activities during the upcoming federal and state election cycles to ensure that all native voters are afforded their rights to vote.

We graciously ask for your support and invite you to be a part of this annual event. In the past, patrons have donated merchandise, gift cards, handmade craft items, artwork, experiences and a variety of other items, and we are grateful for anything and everything! If you are able to donate, please contact Kate via telephone (480-965-6204) or email
(Kate.Rosier@asu.edu) to discuss specifics. We are happy to arrange pick-up of your donated items at your convenience!
