Description

Rapidly growing 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, The Troubled Movement, Inc. is dedicated to encouraging and enriching teen boys and girls 11-18 in the Houston community and one day around the world. The 30-year-old Founder, Maranda Evans, created this organization to reach teens using mentoring and educational programs, events, and activities. In dedication to her father, Randy Evans, who fatally suffered from a domestic violence incident, The Movement created its #PurpleForRandy program as a special memoriam fund providing assistance to victims and survivors of domestic violence.

The Troubled Movement has planned numerous events for 2023, both virtual and in-person, with strict safety precautions. Most importantly their Seventh Annual Spring Into The Future Fundraising Gala set for May 6, 2023 from 6-9pm. The gala will be held at Congregation Emanu El | 1500 Sunset Blvd. | Houston, TX 77005. This year we will have a special award ceremony for the winners of our 2023 Dennis Stoot Scholarship, and our annual Heroes & Survivors award ceremony. Dinner will be served. A raffle will also take place. There will be a videographer and photographer to capture memorable moments. Most of all there will be a chance for the community of Houston and surrounding areas to come together and do something positive for our youth.

Vendor opportunities are also available. We want our attendees to leave this gala filled with assurance that this movement will impact teens and young adults around the world.

A virtual option will be available. Safety procedures will be in place to prevent the impact of COVID-19. Our #1 priority is to make sure our guests feel comfortable while celebrating.

We are asking for monetary donations of any amount, gift cards, in-kind donations that will be used during our raffle, or items for our attendee gift bags (approx. 100). We also hope to see you there! All sponsors will be recognized with a logo and brief bio on social media outlets, a logo on our website, event page, and program, and verbal recognition at the gala. Logos will remain on our website with a link leading to your website.

Donations are needed by April 15, 2023 to ensure your program feature should you choose to donate. We thank you for your consideration and look forward to seeing you!
