The SGS Annual Meeting and Conference focuses on advances in gerontological research and applied practice, bringing together those engaged in the field of aging to attend and/or present their latest research, programs, interventions, and workshops. The conference will include keynote speakers, panel symposia, workshops and both paper and poster sessions. During our conference, we conduct a silent auction. The silent auction features a range of items that can be bid on throughout the conference. The proceeds are used to fund our Southern Gerontological Society Student Support and Older Adult Travel Scholarships. Because SGS is dedicated to student development and mentoring, as well as participation in our conference by older adults, these scholarships are awarded to help offset travel and registrations costs for those who wish to our annual conference.
