I’m writing on behalf of the Shakespeare in the Ruff board of directors to request a donation for a silent auction we’re planning as part of a “trivia night” fundraising event on Monday, August 14 at Eastbound Brewery in Toronto, Ontario. We’re anticipating that this event will attract at least 70 participants for an evening of fun and games.

 Shakespeare in the Ruff (charity # 829282508RR0001) is a Toronto-based professional outdoor theatre company that breathes life and magic into Shakespeare’s works for Toronto’s diverse and contemporary audience. This summer they’re producing a new adaptation of Richard III called Richard Three, directed by Ruff leadership member Patricia Allison (please see here for more details), which will address pressing questions around disability justice and access.
