Description

More than ever, TLC is focused on the great work ahead of us. Over 22,000 adults, 25 years or older, still have less than a high school diploma or its equivalent in North Lawndale and Little Village.

Additionally, with the migrant crisis that the City of Chicago is facing, we are receiving an increasingly high number of daily requests from migrants wanting and needing to enroll in our literacy classes.

Our Center must have funding, resources, and space to provide much-needed services to those in need.

Our goal is $80,000 in unrestricted funds to respond to critical student needs to help our adult learners increase their literacy levels, attain high school equivalency credentials, and find productive employment.

With contributions to our silent auction, you are sowing the seeds of positive change and empowerment. We have been Sharing Our Gifts for over 40 years and are excited to continue celebrating this milestone with our friends and partners.
