The Shirley Friendship Fund as part of The Shirley Charitable Foundation is a 501c3 Charitable organization that has provided holiday cheer to members of our community who are struggling and in need for over 35 years. Each year we are tasked with assembling holiday dinner baskets as well as clothing and toys for local families. This work is carried out by several volunteers who graciously donate their time to help their neighbors. Each recipient of the holiday baskets and gifts are selected based on referrals from school nurses, clergy, and first responders. Each family helped will receive a holiday dinner that they otherwise would not be able to provide as well as some clothing and gifts for any children in the family. Families will also receive personal hygiene, cleaning supplies, and other provisions to help them get through the holiday school vacation. Throughout the year we also hold a backpack drive and provide warm coats and snow boots to children in need.Our intrepid volunteers and shoppers hunt all year looking for bargains on pajamas, winter gear, and special toys to make sure no one gets left out. Over the past few years, we have served a record number of families and elderly households. This year families are struggling due to the rising costs of food, shelter, gasoline, and the struggling economic crisis & uncertainty. With that we anticipate another year in which the number of families and households in need increases, with costs to help all of them close to $10, 000 to help them all. We fully depend on the contributions of many generous individuals as well as businesses that serve our community directly or indirectly to make this happen. If you or your organization can help by providing us with an in-kind donation of an item, service, tickets, or gift card to be auctioned off at an annual ongoing bidding event we would greatly appreciated. I can assure you that all donations we receive from the event make a lasting impact with our mission to help.

The bidding will be open through August 31st or until all our donated items have been spoken for. Auctions will close weekly with new donations listed each week. All 100% of the proceeds will be going back to the Shirley Friendship Fund toward this year's holiday help mission. In return for your generosity, your logo and a direct link to your organization will be posted throughout the entirety of the online event until next year’s event begins in recognition of your generous donation. With your support, we can make the holidays what they were meant to be, joyous times shared with family.
