Description

Showtime 2019 will be AADAP's 26th Annual Benefit Concert. Our event will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at the Aratani Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles. Last year, we sold out the show with over 900 attendees, and it was our most successful fundraiser yet.

We’ve featured many impressive artists and performers on the Showtime stage, including Ken Jeong, Margaret Cho, Quest Crew, Poreotics, Goapele, and more. This year, we are pleased to announce that the legendary Hawaiian band KALAPANA with special guest Michael Paulo, will once again grace the stage and perform their most iconic songs in tribute to the late Malani Bilyeu, founding member and Hoku Award-winning artist. This promises to be an unforgettable experience, as we pay tribute and bid farewell to one of the most beloved performers on the Hawaiian music scene.

All proceeds from the event will go towards benefitting AADAP’s programs. AADAP serves any and all individuals in need of substance abuse and other social support services. Our core programs include substance abuse treatment and prevention for both youth and adults, after-school and educational enrichment programs, anti-gang services for at-risk youth, community empowerment and leadership development, programs for mothers and children, and workforce development. We serve over 20,000 individuals every year across Los Angeles County and surrounding areas. Our mission is to Change Lives and Save Families and we have been proudly doing that for the last 47 years.
