Description

The Asian American Drug Abuse Program, Inc. (AADAP) will be celebrating years of serving the community at Showtime 2020- AADAP’s 48th Anniversary Benefit Event. Our event will be held on Saturday, October 10th, 2020. Last year, we sold out the show with over 900 attendees, and it was our most successful fundraiser in the history of AADAP.

We’ve featured many impressive artists and performers on the Showtime stage, including Ken Jeong, Margaret Cho, Quest Crew, Poreotics, Goapele, and most recently the legendary Hawaiian band KALAPANA. This year promises to just as exciting as past years. In response to COVID-19 and in consideration of the health and safety of our participants, volunteers and staff, this year's benefit will be a virtual event hosted. The great thing about a virtual event is that you can have unlimited guests! Please invite your staff, friends and family members to register for free at https://showtime2020.givesmart.com. By registering, they will have access to the live stream, raffle and silent auction, and be the first to see the exclusive musical performances by Michael Paulo, David Benoit and Kalapana. Now more than ever, our programs need your support. Funds raised through the benefit assist in fulfilling our mission.

AADAP serves any and all individuals in need of substance abuse and other social support services. Our core programs include substance abuse treatment and prevention for both youth and adults, after-school and educational enrichment programs, anti-gang services for at-risk youth, community empowerment and leadership development, programs for mothers and children, and workforce development such as job training and individual career counseling. We serve over 20,000 individuals every year across Los Angeles County and Orange County. Our mission is to Change Lives and Save Families and we have been proudly doing that for the last 48 years.
