The Sight & Sole Walkfest is a community integration event celebrating the inclusion and engagement of people who are living with blindness and vision impairments (BVI) and creating shared experiences between the BVI community and Central Florida’s sighted community. It is a family-friendly, festival to promote vision rehabilitation services provided by Lighthouse Central Florida while helping to fundraise for needed funds in support of programs and operations. We are conducting a 30 day virtual walk challenge with an in person family fun and engaging finish line celebration event on March 27, 2021 at Ace Orlando Café.  Community members through fundraising independently and/or through the creation of teams will help raise funds and bring public awareness for Lighthouse Central Florida’s mission, "Charting a course for Living, Learning and Earning with vision loss." The event will feature live music and health and wellness resources in support of the month of March being Workplace Eye Health & Safety Month.  People will enjoy music and food in an outside environment, while following CDC social distancing guidelines for a great cause.
