I am writing on behalf of Boones Mill Elementary PTO, a Virginia-based nonprofit corporation recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code. Our organization is requesting an in-kind donation to raffle at our silent auction on October 11, 2019. We anticipate that our auction will reach an audience of approximately 300-500 parents, teachers, and community members from Franklin County, VA, and surrounding areas. We will promote our sponsors through social media, flyers, and our online auction Web site.
The objectives of our PTO are:
A. To be a self-governing body.
B. To encourage parents to assist with various school activities/functions/services.
C. To provide financial assistance to BMES when needs are identified and documented.
D. To foster a community atmosphere.
E. To support the mission and vision of the school and school district.
F. To periodically raise funds in alignment with these objectives.
All funds raised from the auction will go toward supporting instructional services and technology materials for students at our school.
