The Academy for Enriched Sciences is a world-class learning environment for K-5th grade students. Our Global Awareness theme is embedded beyond the classroom with enrichment activities during lunch and after school. Integrated magnet units of study require students to think like scientists, to collaboratively analyze global issues and discover multiple pathways to solutions. Science is brought to life in our technology-equipped science lab and student-centered classrooms. 

The aim of the PTA is to enhance and improve our children’s learning experience. To date, our PTA has helped to fund resources and tools which have allowed our community magnet school to be recognized as an award-winning Global Awareness and Science LAUSD Magnet program; one that encourages innovation and exploration. AES received its National STEM certification in 2019 and is only the second school in the whole LAUSD district to be recognized. 

Between December 4 - 7, 2023, the AES PTA will hold our Annual Silent Auction for 2023. Your donation is greatly appreciated and will help make our auction exciting and fun for all. All donations are tax-deductible and funds will go directly towards providing the most essential components to our children’s education. 

We have over 70 community sponsors supporting our auction in 2022 and those funds have gone towards the purchase of SMART digital boards for each classroom, along with the purchase of shade cover for our outdoor classes, giving each class the opportunity to work inside or outside.
