Mitchell Elementary hosts an annual Silent Auction as one of two of our major fundraising events. Mitchell is a Title I Plano ISD Elementary School with almost 700 students. All proceeds raised benefit the Mitchell PTA and help fund our school programs and activities. These funds are used towards teacher and school-based needssuch as health & safety supplies, classroom materials, library resources, classroom technology, fine arts supplies, music programs, STREAM supplies, athletic equipment, and capital improvements. In addition, they help fund our PTA programs such as teacher appreciation, educational field trips, social events, school carnival, Red Ribbon Week, International Night, and Book Fair.

We reach out to the community and ask them to donate goods or services to be auctioned off to our families and neighbors. Donations include restaurant and retail gift cards, vacations, local experiences, camp admission, after school programs, jewelry, spa services and more. 

The Mitchell PTA is a tax-exempt organization and all contributions are tax deductible. Our tax ID number and donation receipt can be provided to our donors. Your company will also be recognized in our newsletter and Facebook page, providing a great opportunity to promote your business to hundreds of families in our area!
