Silent Auction
Online Auction for Toronto District School Board/ Dundas Junior Public SchoolApr 11, 2025 from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Dundas Junior Public School's Silent Auction is scheduled for April 11th 2025, at the school grounds in downtown Toronto, an occasion for the Dundas Junior community parents to have fun together and our largest fundraising event for the year.
This year, we hope to invest in essential student resources (incl. academic literacy, sports equipment, Science Room equipment, STEM activities, field trips to theatres, Brickworks and museums, continuity of Indigenous educational experiences, and health & wellness). Specifically, funds raised in the past have been used to help children with financial obstacles participate in field trips, offset costs to make field trips more affordable for all families, fund busses and transit costs for school-related outings, purchase chapter books and decodable books to enhance library options available for all students, broken gym equipment, establish a STEM facility and more.
We’d be thrilled for you to join us as a Sponsor or In-Kind Donor this year. With education budget cuts continuing each year and our school community swelling to over 580 kids in just the last few months, your involvement is crucial in helping us provide an enriching learning environment at Dundas.
We spread the word about our Silent Auction by putting up posters around the school, sending posters home in kids’ backpacks and emailing posters to parents and caregivers. We also promote the event on our private Facebook group and our Instagram account. Supporting the Silent Auction is a great way to showcase your community involvement and business to the hundreds of young families in the Riverdale, Corktown, Distillery and Waterfront neighbourhoods.
In order to make this event a true triumph, we want to ask for your help.As a business and community leader, you know how costly large initiatives like ours can be.
Please donate to our silent auction and let us crush our fundraising goals, especially ahead of the deep budget cuts the TDSB is anticipating.
Thank you!
