General Mercer Junior Public School is hosting a Silent Auction from May 28 - June 12, 2025. We are looking to the community for support in donating items and experiences to raise money for the school. The items will be posted on our custom auction website and hundreds of families from our community (and beyond) will have the opportunity to bid. 

General Mercer, located at Turnberry and Old Weston Road in Toronto, is an inner-city school. It includes six special education classrooms, a third of the school’s population. Some of our students and families face challenges with food security and access to resources for equal learning opportunities. But our school also boasts an incredible community of involved parents and caregivers, who focus on community building and supporting the learning experience for every child attending GM.

The Silent Auction link will be sent out to over 200 families in our school, posted on local Facebook groups and shared as a QR code on flyers distributed in the neighbourhood. Last year, our community members placed over 400 bids on 93 donated items and raised over $4,600 for our school food pantry program, field trips, and updated gym equipment. By donating to our silent auction this year, you will make a meaningful, positive impact at our school.
