Volunteer Lawyers Network’s (VLN) silent auction at the Hennepin County Bar Foundation Bar Benefit, which will be held on June 2, 2022 at the Minneapolis Events Center.

Each year, more than 300 Minnesota judges, lawyers, partners and community leaders attend the Hennepin County Bar Foundation Bar Benefit, where VLN hosts a Silent Auction. The esteemed guests gather to celebrate the hard work of the HCBA (Hennepin County Bar Association) and VLN, and to support the organizations through playing games and bidding on items at the Silent Auction.

VLN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides free legal services to people living in poverty throughout Minnesota. We serve thousands of people who cannot afford an attorney each year, protecting safe homes, loving family relationships, and hard-earned income. In 2021, over 500 volunteers and staff helped over 5,000 individuals and families. The Hennepin County Bar Association is a strong supporter and partner of our organization.  The Bar Benefit raises money to support the Hennepin County Bar Foundation (HCBF), the charitable arm of the Hennepin County Bar Association. The HCBF fulfills its mission of "promoting access to justice for the people of Hennepin County" by giving more than $200,000 in grants each year to dozens of local nonprofits.   All of the proceeds from the silent auction support VLN’s work. None of the funds raised goes to pay private attorneys.
