City of Kawartha Lakes municipal employees are hosting fundraising events throughout December as a part of their workplace campaign in support of United Way CKL. They are seeking donated items that can be raffled off or added to silent auction baskets. 

All of the funds raised through these activities will be donated to UWCKL to aid in our poverty reduction and community develoment work in Kawartha Lakes and Halburton. United Way CKL focuses on responding to urgent and emerging needs in the community by providing funding to necesary services and programs reltaed to emergency housing, food security, employment supports, and child/youth mentorship.
