We are writing on behalf of Ventura Charter School of Arts and Global Education to ask for your support.

For 13 years prior to the pandemic, Ventura Charter School has partnered with the City of Ventura to put on the Ventura Earth Day Eco Fest. The goal of the Ventura Earth Day Eco Fest is to educate our community about ways they can change their everyday lives to reduce the footprint they leave on our earth. Due to the shut down and to exercise caution, we have been unable to host this citywide event. We are hopeful to return to our largest fundraiser of the year in 2023 and will surely keep you posted on our plans. We miss having the opportunity to educate the public and highlight the wonderful businesses/nonprofits of our City.

In April and May, we will be having our children perform a variety of Earth Day awareness projects including, collecting trash, planting seeds, and brainstorming ways to reduce waste just to name a few. At the same time, we are planning to hold a Silent Auction to raise (a portion) of the funds we normally raise at our big event for educational field trips, electives for our middle school students, theater, art classes, outdoor education as well as many other programs.

We would like to invite your organization to participate! Your donation, in addition to being tax deductible, provides a wonderful opportunity for you to gain exposure to potential customers while supporting a fantastic school. Ventura Charter School is a tuition free non-profit public school serving 450 students from Kindergarten to eighth grade. Our mission is to engage every student in meaningful and supportive learning to grow resilient, educated, and socially intelligent human beings.

Specifically, we would appreciate a product donation that could be sold in our Silent Auction. These items can be gift certificates to your business, services, actual items such as products, art, jewelry, etc. or even monetary contributions.
