Description

Hello

For residents in the Lyndale community in South Minneapolis, gathering and building community is a key way neighbors of different backgrounds have meaningful relationships and connect with each other. As Lyndale’s Neighborhood Association, our mission is to be the vehicle for community members to shape their neighborhood, and we need your help!

The Lyndale Neighborhood Association (LNA), a nonprofit agency serving the needs of neighbors in South Minneapolis’ Lyndale neighborhood since 1992, is excited to share our first online silent auction with the community! The 2024 Lyndale Spring Online Auction will be held virtually from Wednesday, May 1 through Sunday, May 5, 2024.

We are seeking a donation for our silent auction. We would LOVE to include products, gift cards or tickets  from your business. Furthermore, we are sensitive to the fact that you may be experiencing financial hardships of your own. If you are unable to support us this year, we completely understand! Any donation you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Donations will be recognized through our online auction, and we will be acknowledging businesses through a series of social media posts and through our weekly eNewsletter to the community leading up to the auction.

LNA is a community led organization. Our main programs include four community garden sites geared toward neighborhood renters, business facade revitalization grants, the LNA Education Program which provides high-quality in-person adult English language and Computer Basics instruction, as well as several community engagement events and committees. Please visit www.lyndale.org for more information on our organization.

Donations can be emailed to organizer@lyndale.org, sent to LNA at 3537 Nicollet Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55408 OR you may contact me directly at 612-405-9730 for more information.

Thank you so much for your consideration and support!

Sincerely,

Maleni Wiitala, Community Organizer
