Description

The Silent Night Winter Auction begins online on December 2 and concludes after our in-person Open House 5:30-7pm on December 7. You may view information on the event on our website here: www.rmhsa.org/winter-auction. All donations will be auctioned online to raise money to support our mission of serving families in need. Our winter auction is annual and helps to support children and families from our region.

Our House serves families from the region who have children receiving medical care at the nearby hospital, usually in the NICU. Most families travel for hours to receive care because the Johnson City Medical Center and Niswonger Children’s Hospital have one of the highest levels of care offered in the region for children and infants. We serve a total of forty counties over a 125-mile radius and offer a ‘home away from home’ to families so they can stay near their child and focus on healing instead of worrying about where to sleep or what to eat.

Although we do not charge families for staying with us, the costs to house each family are rising, so each of our fundraising events is vital to maintaining our ability to serve the region. The recent damage from Hurricane Helene increased the number of families in need within our community so every bit helps. This has been a terrible time for many of us and I hope you are doing well and have not been personally affected by the storm. Any contribution is appreciated, and I will work to ensure that you are recognized within our community as a friend and sponsor to our cause. Our sponsors will be represented on our webpages, social media, and in local news coverage. Additionally, your contribution would be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
