Silex After Prom will be held on Saturday/Sunday, April 30/May 1 from 12 a.m. - 4 a.m. at Kokomo Joe's in St. Peters, MO. for Juniors, Seniors & their guests. We are expecting about 100 students. The After Prom attendees will be able to enjoy an alcohol/drug free night of riding go carts, bumper cars, trampoline park, laser tag, arcade games, hypnotist show, etc. Food will be provided. Prizes will be given out throughout the night to the attendees. It takes about $10,000 to put on this event which is  done through fundraising & donation requests. The buses that transport the kids cost about $360 (90 miles round trip with 2 buses & 2 drivers) The venue is about $4,000 which includes food,  the hypnotist is about $500. The rest is spent on prizes for the attendees. Prizes includes TV's, Apple products, tickets to sporting events, theme parks, gift cards to stores, restaurants, etc. The Junior class parents help chaperone this event to make sure all kids are respectful & having a good time. We will set up other games such as cornhole, jenga, boardgames, etc. in the lobby. When the kids depart, we will hand them a snack bag that contains juice & breakfast items that they can eat on the bus ride home.
