We are firefighters who offer support and give back to children fighting critical illnesses. Their battle will not be fought alone! Our chapters focus on building relationships with their fire buddies. Our partnering firefighter chapters invest time with their fire buddies, showing up daily, surprising them with big and small gifts, acknowledging the often overlooked siblings, and attending major events. We not only bring joy to these children and their families but also raise awareness about critical pediatric illnesses, making these young heroes shine among their families and local communities. We currently support 135 children and families battling pediatric critical illness. While we are headquartered in Tinley Park, IL, we have nearly 100 chapters throughout Illinois and an additional 20 nationwide.

On February 8th, 2025, we will host the 3rd annual Silver Linings and Hearts of Gold gala at the Tinley Park Convention Center. This event is a meaningful platform to raise funds and awareness for our mission of supporting children fighting critical illnesses throughout the Chicagoland area and our chapters nationwide. The evening promises to be unforgettable, featuring a captivating combination of a silent and live auction, an elegant sit-down dinner, an open bar, and the Bluewater Kings Band that will set the dancefloor ablaze.
