Description

We are excited to announce Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity will be hosting the sixth annual Chair-ity Ball on November 11, 2023 at the Delaware Agricultural Museum in Dover, DE.

CDHFH’s Chair-ity Ball is one of our primary fundraisers to support our efforts of building affordable homes in Kent County! By auctioning our featured adirondack chairs painted by local artist plus a silent auction, we have set a goal to raise $30,000 at the Chair-ity Ball. To reach this goal, we are seeking auction items to help fundraise for the needs of our homeownership program. With each auction item, your company’s information and logo will be advertised on our social media.

If you would like to donate an auction item, please contact Heather at hkline@centraldelawarehabitat.org or call (302) 526-2366 ext. 101. You may also mail it or drop it off to:

Since 1990, CDHFH has built almost 80 homes in Kent County. COVID-19 and rising prices due to inflation have set us back as an organization. We are struggling to replenish funds from the cost of materials it takes to build homes. Did you know that with each house we build, we lose an average of $35,000? Attending and sponsoring our events, such as this, help us mitigate our losses and continue our mission of building homes, communities, and hope.

All proceeds from the Chair-ity Ball will benefit CDHFH’s programs such as homeownership and neighborhood revitalization.
