Skating Away From Exploitation (S.A.F.E.) youth empowerment program is an eight-week program for at-risk girls ages 12 - 18 where once a week, participants will meet at the rink to learn a skate concept that they can apply to their life that will help prevent them from becoming a victim of sexual exploitation. Additionally, participants will be paired with an experineced skater who will teach them how to use skating as a coping mechanism.
