For more than 25 years, SKI Plano has raised critical funds to help Plano ISD students throughout the district. We are excited to announce that this year the event will be held on Saturday, February 5th at The Plano Marriott Legacy Town Center! As the Plano ISD Education Foundation’s largest fundraiser, the dollars raised at SKI Plano will help us continue to make a lasting impact on PISD students and educators. 

The Plano ISD Education Foundation (PISDEF) is the 501(c) (3) organization that assists Plano ISD in maintaining its high standards of academic excellence. The organization raises funds that support priority projects for which tax dollars are not available. All funds raised by PISDEF including those from the SKI Plano fundraiser are directly invested in Plano ISD. PISDEF is proud to assist in funding over 27 different programs throughout PISD, some of which are listed below:

●      Grants to Educators throughout our District for innovative classroom projects

●      STEM Education

●      Programs that recruit and retain the very best teachers

●      Programs, such as AVID, that promote college readiness for all students

●      Programs that bridge the achievement gap in students 

●      Innovative initiatives, such as Health Science Academy and Competitive Robotics
