Small Things Matter currently serves 7000 food insecure individuals in Maryland, many of whom are BIPOC and recent immigrants. We provide them with weekly access to fresh produce, culturally important foods, gently used clothing, diapers, feminine hygiene products, and household goods.

On Saturday November 11, 2023 we are hosting a gala/silent auction to raise funds for our food program. The gala is being held at the Takoma Park SDA Church Center (6810 Eastern Ave NW, Washington, DC 20012), Keystone Room, from 5pm-8pm.  The auction bidding will open up 1 week prior to the gala.  There will be a 1 hour mixer where auction bids will continue to be collected, followed by a few presentations, speeches, dinner, and then the closeout of the auction.
