Our primary objective as a PTA is to provide our school with funds, programs, resources and services
that will enrich and maximize the educational experience of every child. The PTA expands
teachers’ resources so that our students continue to receive the outstanding education
that they need and deserve. Last year, with the funds we raised, our PTA was able to
purchase 30 student chromebooks for our Computer Lab, contribute towards new gym
wall padding, purchase books for our “One School, One, Book” Reading Program,
purchase outside recess baskets, and also a hallway water filling station.
As you can see, we are a busy group. To meet this important goal we must fundraise.
Our largest fundraiser of the year, Smith Night Out, is taking place at
Florentine Gardens in River Vale, NJ on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. A large
percentage of the money raised is a result of a successful raffle of the donations we receive
from local businesses. We are writing to you today to see if you would be willing to donate
to our worthy cause. Your sponsorship can be in the form of cash donations,products, services, or gift certificates as raffle prizes. All donations to our non-
profit PTA are tax deductible. As a business sponsor, your company will be publicized inour program brochure at the event.
