It is with great excitement that we invite you to participate in our SOAR (Student-Organized Adventures to Remember) GALA, a student-led event at High Point Academy, hosted by The Global Student Leadership Club.  We are hosting this art and travel-themed occasion to raise money to give back to our veteran community and toward our biennial group expedition, a school trip to Europe in March of 2024. This adventure will grow our leadership skills and give us a once-in-a-lifetime travel experience while earning class credits. Not only will we participate in extensive research about the destinations we will visit before our trip, but we will be fully immersed in the culture and language of places many only dream of visiting while on our trip. Your invaluable participation guarantees the success of our GALA, and in so doing, affords many, who may not have the opportunity or funds, to go on such a trip.

The Global Student Leadership Club is a high school student-led committee with the mission of expanding our knowledge of diverse cultures and paving the way for each student’s future successes. We strive to create a community of globally-mature and service-oriented leaders who will help transform society through their knowledge of our world. Global Student Leadership Club helps to immerse our students in different cultures and societies as well as help them advance their knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion around the world. In addition to this global-mindedness, our organization also gives back to our local veteran community by raising awareness among our student body of issues surrounding their sacrifices both foreign and domestic.
