This is SoCal Animal Response Team's (SCART) 14th Annual Fundraiser.  The money raised from this event supports SCART's Mission to provide education and training to the communities in disaster preparedness for themselves and their pets.  It also enables us to assist local agencies by responding to a crisis with disaster trained volunteers, which can include evacuation and shelter management teams.  SoCal Animal Response Team responsed in Octover 2017 to the Canyon 2 fires,by setting up a temporary animal shelter for evacuated pets.  This was next to the Red Cross Evacuation shelter at El Modena High Shcool.
