St. John ther Baptist Social Services will be hosting a luau on Saturday, June 25, to raise funds for the many programs it offers those in need in the community. It will also be a fun. social event with 250 people expected to attend.

Social Services seeks to aid and offer long-term solutions to Baldwin Park and surrounding area residents through programs such as parentign classes, food aid, counseling, immigration assistance, citizenship test preparation classes, utility and rental aid, exercise classes, "at risk" youth services, health referrals, clincis, workshops and more. These progra,s aim to work effectively and efficiently. The event is the primary fundraiser for the Social Services for the year.

Support for this event would truly help make it a sucess. Donations will be recognized online, in announcements, at event tables, and in the event program.
