Organized and operated for the charitable and educagtional purposes of supporting the achievements of our youth athletes. This organization is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. West Babylon Softball Booster assists the local youth softball team and is dedicated to promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and community involvement among young athletes. We are excited to announce our upcoming raffle fundraiser, scheduled for February 1, 2025 which aims to raise funds necessary for equipment, uniforms, and field improvements for the team. Specifically this year, we are looking to raise funds for the "DugOut Project"! - 

Currently, the softball field lacks any sort of "team area" during games. Our goal is to provide home and away team dugouts (similar to the one pictured here).  

Dugouts play a crucial role in the game of softball, acting as both a shelter for players and a strategic location for coaching and team discussions. By providing a designated area for players, dugouts ensure that athletes are protected from the elements, allowing them to focus more on their performance without the distractions of weather conditions. Furthermore, dugouts facilitate team cohesion and communication, creating an environment where players feel supported and connected. This enhancement will not only elevate the standard of play but also contribute to a more enjoyable experience for the teams and their families.
