the Relay For Life of South Orange County (SOCRFL) for the benefit of the American Cancer Society (ACS), a team fundraising walk designed to raise money to fight cancer, increase awareness of cancer prevention, remember those who have lost their battle with the disease, and celebrate those who have won the fight. Each team commits to having at least one person walking for the entire duration of the event to remind participants that cancer patients are continually fighting, so our fight should also be continuous. All the proceeds from this event go directly to the American Cancer Society (ACS). We believe this is such a worthwhile cause to fundraise for, especially with the knowledge that current statistics show that 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives and that this year alone, over 1.6 million cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the United States. The walk is taking place on June 11th, 2022 from 1-9 PM at The Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park, 24932 Veterans Way, in Mission Viejo, CA. In-Kind donation or gift card/gift certificate of any amount (no amount is too low) is used to reach our goal in the fight to raise funds and awareness against cancer, during our silent auction.
