Each year, the start of August marks the completion of another amazing Summer Fellowship Program, where we immerse Bay Area teachers from underserved schools in paid summer "fellowships" in STEM-focused companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Lockheed Martin and many more. During these 8-week fellowships, our teachers work with their corporate mentors on real-time projects alongside top professionals in their field to gain invaluable insights into the modern workplace. Their experience is then followed by a rigorous process to create uniquely enhanced, STEM (science/technology/engineering/math) curricula to bridge the gap between industry and classroom for their students and get them inspired to become the next generation of innovators. 

We have aptly titled the event that marks the completion of our program "Spark the Future," where our teachers, corporate mentors, and funders come together to share stories about everyone's experience and hear directly from both the educational and corporate side about plans to positively impact the most students.
