West Georgia Domestic Violence Shelter (Carroll County Emergency Shelter)  is excited to announce our inaugural Speakeasy Ball! Join us for a night of 1920s fun with dinner, drinks, dancing and a silent auction. Our organization is funded through community donations as well as local, state and federal grants, unfortunately we are facing potential federal funding cuts which could be devastating to our ability to provide safe and effective services to the growing numbers of survivors of domestic violence reaching out for assistance, our services grew 23% from 2021-2022. The purpose of this event is to offset these funding cuts and hopefully allow our agency to increase our capacity.
