LA BioMed respectfully requests a donation to be included in the auction during our annual fundraising event - Spirit of Innovation Gala 2019. A prestigious group of more than 450 business and community leaders from Southern California and other areas will gather at The Theatre at Ace Hotel for the LA BioMed Gala on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

Founded in 1952, LA BioMed is a leading non-profit biomedical research institute responsible for carrying out thousands of research projects conducted by nearly 100 clinicians and research scientists. From more effective ways to screen for heart disease to breakthroughs in HIV/AIDS treatments to coming close to a vaccine for hospital-acquired infections, LA BioMed positively touches the lives of many. While our discoveries benefit tens of millions of individuals worldwide, the Institute's target population consists primarily of the ethnically diverse low-income children and adults, numbering approximately two million people, served by the county hospital, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. 

LA BioMed augments its research mission with programs that serve more than 100,000 low-income children and families. Through programs such as WIC (Women, Infant, and Children program), we offer prenatal and breast feeding counseling, nutrition assistance, reproductive health services, and more.

Your 100% tax-deductible donation to the Gala will receive recognition, as follows:
