The benefits of youth participating in team sports is often taken for granted. Many of us grew up involved in sports, which helped shape us into who we are today. It taught us teamwork, the value of hard work and fair play. For many youth, however, developmental or competitive sports are not easily accessible. The Boys & Girls Clubs’ cadre of affordable and quality sports programming, offered at our quality and accessible facilities, are an important resource in helping youth develop and maintain more physically, mentally, and emotionally fit lifestyles.

Every Sports Fest sponsorship helps to fund the nearly 2,000 children and youth who will participate in the Clubs’ youth sports programs this year, which include swimming, baseball (RBI), basketball, wrestling, soccer, weight training, track & field, golf and our daily nutrition program. Event proceeds will fund half of the Clubs’ total cost this year to provide these programs – so your help is critical!

Sports Fest will be a fast-paced, fun-filled evening and will put thousands of Club youth in the game with year-round sports, recreation, and healthy lifestyles programs! Sports Fest: “More Than a Game Night” at Sporting Park in Kansas City, KS, will feature:
• A championship menu
• Free-flowing libations
• An all-star lineup of fun, NEW interactive games, including the ever popular batting cages
• Great music
• Silent auction
• And so much more!
