SportsFest Luncheon 2016 - Lunch with a Legend

SportsFest includes a pre-event reception, silent auction, luncheon featuring a sports-related celebrity guest speaker (this year, Herschel Walker) and tickets to the 1:10 pm Royals vs. Indians baseball game for all guests.

All funds raised through SportsFest support the sports programs offered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City. Club membership is the only access some youth will have to sports throughout the year. Most of our young people live in low-income neighborhoods where there are fewer parks, green spaces, bike paths, and swimming pools than in higher-income neighborhoods. Most of their parents are unable to afford league fees and memberships…so their children spend their time inside and sedentary. Children dedicated to sports are less likely to start using drugs and more likely to make better health choices.
