Prologue Performing Art’s SPOTLIGHT Prologue Virtual Showcase is fast approaching! On June
1st, 2021 Ontario educators, school board staff, members of Government granting bodies, and local
representatives will come together to support Prologue’s commitment to delivering barrier-free
access to performing arts experiences in schools and communities across Ontario.

The event will pay tribute to the triumphs of the Prologue community, who throughout the
pandemic forged ahead investing in digital and diverse programming, delivering 160
performances straight into the homes of thousands of families, community centres and
libraries, reaching roughly 80,000 children and youth. As well as our valued and essential
educators who remained committed to bringing quality arts education to schools and youth
audiences.

The event will be professionally produced virtual celebration featuring a tribute to our
educators, sneak peek at Prologues upcoming season, performances by students impacted,
performance by renowned artist Lazylez, who has been featured on the Ellen show, So You
Think You Can Dance Canada, America’s Got Talent and lead performer for the 2010 Vancouver
Paralympics Opening Ceremonies. And an auction and/ or raffle from which all proceeds will
help broadening the horizons of students in Ontario by introducing them to the world of the
performing arts.
