As a member of the PTA for Jose Ortega Elementary School, San Francisco, I am writing to invite your participation in our annual Spring Auction, which will take place on February 29, 2020.  This exciting event is our major fundraiser of the year and will feature a week long online auction followed by a silent and live auction event with food, drinks, and music. We expect 150+ to attend the live event and the online auction is expected to reach 600 community members.  This fundraiser helps support many of our stellar educational programs that do not get funded through the district or state, like science, computer science and art enrichment. Last year, we raised over $90,000.

All of our school's families, volunteers and supporters will be encouraged to patronize those businesses who have so graciously donated to our school. In addition, we will be advertising our auction on our Facebook page, our school website, weekly e-newsletters, posters and flyers. Your commitment to helping Jose Ortega PTA with a donation of a gift certificate, product or service from your business suitable for an auction will not go unnoticed and would be greatly appreciated.
