This year, our spring auction is focusing on raising money to support and fund new reading initiatives for our school to help our students that have fallen behind during the pandemic. As a Title 1 school, our students were hit hard by the pandemic, and currently, 67% of them are behind grade level in reading. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to introduce Meet the Author visits, book clubs, reading challenges, and to purchase a book vending machine where teachers can reward their students with a token for a new book of their choosing. 

This year's event is a week long online auction, with the final night of the event being an in-person social event for the community's families.
