Yick Wo Elementary is a small public school located in San Francisco’s Chinatown/North Beach neighborhood with a diverse student body of 210 students. The Yick Wo community is committed to supporting public school education but public funding alone will not help us reach our goals. 

In March 2024, we will be holding our Spring Auction to raise funds for programs that enrich our children’s education which includes Art, Music, Supplemental Physical Education, Outdoor Education, and Literacy Support that are no longer funded by the school district.  The event is put on by our parent volunteers and supported by generous institutions that donate tickets or items to be auctioned off. The online portion begins early March and ends with an in-person event of silent & live auction on 3/16/2024
