Whitney M. Young Magnet High School’s biggest fundraiser is coming up on March 14 when we host over 500 parents, teachers, alumni and friends at Venue West for our annual Spring Bash. Spring Bash includes food, drinks, music by Whitney Young Jazz Combo, DJ SKOLi, silent auction and raffle.

We are seeking donations of items for our silent auction.Any denomination is greatly appreciated by the entire Whitney Young community and you will receive recognition before, during and after the event through social media, signage as well as the online auction which will reach thousands of people. We will be sure that you receive an official receipt for your donated item for tax purposes. A donation form is included or you may donate online here.

Whitney Young is one of the best schools in Chicago, but we must rely on contributions from parents, friends and business owners like you. Our goal is to raise $230,000 at Spring Bash to support the valuable academic, artistic and athletic programs at Whitney Young which are not funded by CPS such as Aerospace Club, Young Company Drama Department, Debate, Best Buddies, Science Olympiads, Girls & Boys Tennis, 21st Century Multi Media...and dozens more! The school educates 2200 exceptional students annually.
