Whitney Young High School is consistently ranked in the top 10 in the nation, the top three in the State of Illinois for academics, and #2 in the nation in diversity. But while we are known as the School of Champions we are a Chicago Public School and must rely on contributions from parents, friends and businesses like yours to support valuable academic, artistic and athletic programs. This is where you come in.

Spring Bash is our big fundraiser attended by 500 parents, alumni, teachers and friends. The evening includes food, drinks, student performances, music and dancing, a cash raffle and a silent auction. Your tax-deductible donation of an item or experience to our online silent auction will reaching thousands of people including Whitney Young families, alumni, friends, businesses and Chicago residents. You will also receive recognition before, during and after the event through social media, signage and more. We will be sure that you receive an official receipt for your donated item for tax purposes.
