Description

Please join us at the award-winning Ciel Creative Space for a memorable evening, as we showcase just a few of the myriad ways a world-class music education at Crowden opens doors to a vibrant and purposeful life. The event will include dinner, silent auction, live auction, and entertainment by the Hot Club of San Francisco!

For going on 40 years, Crowden has been a vital East Bay community hub, promoting a love of music that transcends the walls of our historic building on Rose Street. Over 8,000 children and adults attend Crowden classes, concerts, and other events each year, and we are calling on you to help us continue this tradition.

Crowden offers music education to the entire community through our two divisions: Crowden Music Center, providing lessons, classes, workshops, camps, and concert series for students of all ages, and The Crowden School, an independent school for students in 3rd–8th grade with a full academic curriculum designed to foster intellectual and emotional maturity through the development of analytical and critical thinking, alongside a daily music program with an emphasis on chamber music where students learn to play music together developing empathy, communications, and collaboration skills beyond their years. Over 50% of The Crowden School’s diverse student body receives tuition assistance through Crowden’s financial aid program.

This event is our most significant fundraiser of the year. We anticipate more than 200 guests (many of whom are generous Bay Area arts patrons and philanthropists) will participate in this fundraising event, and even more in online bidding prior to the event’s auctions. Your tax-deductible contribution ensures that we can continue to bring music into the lives of Bay Area children and adults for whom music education might otherwise be unavailable. All proceeds go to benefit music education programs and financial aid at Crowden.

In return for your generosity, donors will be recognized in our program, auction catalog, and event publicity, social media, and website. A donation packet is attached for your review. For more detailed information or questions, please call Stephannie Tornow at 510.559.6940 x120 or send an email to stornow@crowden.org. Thank you for considering our donation request and for your support of Crowden!
