Solar Preparatory School for Boys launched in August 2018 as the first public all-boys elementary school in Texas. It opened with the mission to create an environment where every boy can thrive. As a STEAM focused Transformation school in Dallas ISD, the campus aims to support boys in becoming the leaders they are truly meant to be.

We continue to add grades each year, which means we continue to grow. With growth comes needs. 

• Our new e-Sports teams need $1,400 to be able to purchase technology that will allow them to better compete in district-wide competitions
• Our new Modern Band elective is searching for $1,000 for additional instruments, like a bass and electric guitars
• Gym needs new sporting equipment, and would benefit from $500 in balls and other equipment
• In our Makerspace classes, the middle school explorers have started using power tools to create unique woodworking projects

The Spring Carnival is our second fundraiser of the year and is completely free to encourage all families and neighbors to attend. 

We are going to have:

• Inflatables and carnival ride
• Games
• Music
• Food
• STEM activities
• Book fair
• And most of all: FUN

We are also offering various baskets and raffle items to help raise funds to support our specials, after-school activities and new elective classes for our middle school students.
