I am writing on behalf of the Oak View Elementary PTO to request a donation for our Spring Carnival event, which will be held May 17, 2024.  This event is attended by families of our school as well as members of the community.   We host an outdoor carnival with games, bounce houses, and a dunk tank.  It is a wonderful family event that promotes community in our school.  The event proceeds help bring additional resources to our 500+ students, such as Field trip, Three Rivers Naturalist Science Program, Yearbooks, library updates, books, and classroom support.

Oak View is proud to boast a unique level of diversity for a suburban school.   Our students speak 19 different languages and dialects, 52% are families of color, 16% are part of our English Language Learner program and 14% receive special education services.  These facts set Oak View apart from other elementary schools in the district and make us a truly unique educational environment.  We are an active and dedicated PTO group and we fundraise with one goal in mind - to meet the needs of our ENTIRE family of learners. 

Your generosity and dedication to helping children is inspiring and we thank you for the strong role you play in our community.  We would greatly appreciate any donation you can make and can provide a donation receipt letter with the Tax-Exempt ID number for your records.   We will also proudly display your business name on posters during the event and announce it as prizes are handed out.
