Description

On May 15, 2024 we will be hosting our annual Spring Concert and Silent Auction.

Suzuki Talent Education of Waterloo (STEW) is a charitable, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the music education of people of all ages and abilities. STEW offers instruction in Suzuki Early Childhood Education, and instrumental instruction in violin, viola, and cello. Currently we have 80+ students ranging in age from birth to adults learning as amateur musicians. We offer several concerts per year that are open to the public with no charge. We also work towards educational outreach by giving presentations in local schools, markets, and participating in local festivals.

STEW provides financial assistance through bursaries to students and families interested in Suzuki Method learning who would not otherwise be able to participate in music education opportunities. Eligibility for assistance is determined annually by the STEW Board of Directors based on means testing of applicants. Our fundraising directly impacts our ability to offer scholarships, bursaries, workshops and public performances. Your donation or sponsorship will assist us in this programming and build these opportunities for our community.

In recognition of your generous support for silent auction items, you/your organization will be recognized on our spring concert program program. We will also identify those who have confirmed a donation before May 1, during the opening remarks of our spring concert.

If you are interested in helping us please contact me to discuss the details further. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
