Description

The Woman's Service Club of Windham is holding its annual Craft Fair on Saturday, April 2 at Windham High School, Windham, NH from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The proceeds from this event will be used primarily to fund two $2000 scholarships to needy Windham seniors who have demonstrated a strong commitment to community service.

Raffle baskets are an important part of this fundraiser. In fact, in 2021 the Raffle Baskets raised over $800. We would like to again include passes to Story Land in one of the baskets.

The Woman's Service Club of Windham or WSCW is a 501(c)(3) organization. The tax ID number is 38-3912347. Its address is: P. O. Box 703, Windham, NH 03087.

In addition to funding the two scholarships, the Club provides donations to Our Place in Manchester, Women Veterans through the V A Medical Center in Manchester, the Upper Room in Derry, Nesmith Library in Windham, Shepherd's Pantry in Windham and the libraries in each of the Windham public schools. It holds two clothing drives in the fall. This year the clothing was donated to Shepherd’s Pantry in Windham, Sonshine Kitchen in Derry and Families in Transition/New Horizons in Manchester.

The Woman’s Service Club of Windham will prominently display a list of donors on a table at the entrance to the Fair, on the Raffle Table and at the Concession Stand. The Club will also thank all donors in the Club Newsletter, on the Club website, on the Club’s Facebook page and in the Windham Independent
